Columbia Falls firefighters battled a blaze early Sunday morning near Falcon Lane off Highway 2 just east of the Blue Moon. An RV and a doublewide trailer caught fire.
No one was injured and no one was home at the time, said Columbia Falls Fire Chief Karl Weeks. The cause remains under investigation.
Flames 20 feet high were shooting out of the RV, which was adjacent to the trailer home.
The fire broke out at about 3:30 a.m.
Firefighters from Evergreen and Bad Rock responded with mutual aid.
