Majority shouldn't have to suffer due mask wearers' fears

I am beginning this letter to support and compliment Len Golding (Daily Bee, Feb. 11) along with Lawrence Fury, Gena Gibson and Steve Brixen for expressing the point of view regarding the false premises of wearing face coverings, i.e. masks. Steve Temple (Daily Bee, Feb. 21) and Brittany Sisson (Daily Bee, Feb. 21) are also correct in their personal statements of fact. Thank you all for communicating our beliefs based upon the real science and not the mindless opinions of Dr. Doom, Lord Fauci and the other liberal, power-grabbing "officials." Also, thank you for stating the obvious in a more polite way than I would have said.

And, to those who try to play the "shame game" (Chris Meikle and many others); it does not, and will not work. If you are afraid for your "safety" then wear a mask if you want  to go to stores, etc. Since you obviously believe that masks work, then, if you choose to wear a useless mask you won't be infected and those who choose not to wear a mask won't be infected by you either. So, what is your issue? Since when do the vast minority of citizens who may have COPD (probably from smoking by choice) or some other unfortunate condition, get to dictate to the much greater majority? I, and the majority believe in the freedom to choose what we wear. I'll bet you didn't wear a "face covering" when the flu epidemics were all around. We certainly did not and if we got sick it was our problem, not yours. Get the vaccination(s) and get over your superior  attitudes.
