Sandpoint lacrosse club hits the turf for opener

The Sandpoint lacrosse varsity boys team played its first game on the new artificial surface at War Memorial Field on Saturday.

The club team took on Coeur d'Alene in its season opener and fell 20-4. Kostas Bauck, Joseph Aexel, Blayne Kanning and Forrest Ambridge all scored goals for the Bulldogs, who host Moscow at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
