Columbia Falls man dies in wreck

Lincoln County officials have released the name of a Columbia Falls man who died in a vehicle crash March 13.
According to Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby, which contracts with Lincoln County for its coroner services, Joshua Jackson, 35, died after being ejected from his vehicle Saturday, March 13.
Montana Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of the crash on U.S. 2 near White Haven at 11:20 a.m. According to troopers, Jackson was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon westbound on U.S. 2 when the vehicle crossed the centerline and went off the shoulder at mile marker 38. The
SUV rolled several times and Jackson was ejected from the vehicle.
He was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol and speed are suspected factors in the crash. Road conditions were bare and dry.
