Amanda Lee Benson Tanner, 35, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away on March 18, 2021. Amanda was born on Jan. 6, 1986, in Coeur d’Alene, to Ken and Sherry Benson.

Amanda grew up in Post Falls and graduated from Post Falls High School in 2004, where she was very active in many sports. She especially loved softball. Amanda always had the best smile and huge heart and loved with her whole heart. Most of all, Amanda loved being a mother to her two sons. Amanda loved and adored them and was always so proud of them. Amanda wanted nothing more but for them to have a wonderful life.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Ken Benson, and her brother, Matt Benson. She leaves behind her sons, Avery and Levi Tanner; her mother, Sherry Benson; sister, Melissa Benson; grandparents, Kay and Roger Edgington and Glady’s Benson.

Though her smile is gone forever, and her hand I cannot touch, I still have so many memories of the one we loved so much. Her memory is now a keepsake with which I’ll never part. I have her forever locked safe within my heart, sadly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace my sweet girl.

Bell Tower Funeral Home is entrusted with services. Please visit Amanda's obituary at www.belltowerfuneralhome.com.
