The 19th annual Mother’s Day flower sale kicks off Monday, May 3, at Lake Pend Oreille High School, 1005 N. Boyer. The star of the show are the multi-colored baskets of "supertunias" for $25 each. Supertunias are a petunia variety that are self-pruning and don’t require deadheading. Also available are marigolds, zinnias, coleus, nasturtiums, geraniums, and later in the season tomatoes, peppers and zucchini. Just stop in at the school’s office during the school day to purchase.
