Kats sweep at Frenchtown

The Columbia Falls softball team went undefeated at the Frenchtown Invitational Friday and Saturday.
Pitcher Sydney Mann won the first three games of the Frenchtown Invitational, ringing in a 13-6 victory against Stevensville and a 19-2 landslide against Anaconda on Friday before securing a 9-4 win against Corvallis Saturday morning. Throughout her three wins, Mann allowed a total of 11 runs on nine hits while striking out 15.
Maddie Moultray took the win in the Kats’ final game against Mission on Saturday in a 9-4 defeat of the Lady Bulldogs where Moultray allowed zero runs and one hit while striking out one.
Mann and Abbie Darsow both went 3-3 to lead the Kats in hits at Frenchtown.
Tuesday last week the Kats lost to top ranked AA Glacier, 15-0.
The Wildkats are scheduled to play Ronan at 6 p.m. on Thursday at home.
