LINDSEY ERICKSON has been appointed chief executive officer of National Flood Services in Kalispell.
Erickson attended Flathead Valley Community College and the University of Montana. Her career with National Flood Services began 20 years ago as a customer service representative. She takes the place of interim CEO George Ruhana, who will continue in his role as operating partner at the flood insurance company.
SETH CARBONARI is the new district ranger of the Ksanka Ranger District located in Eureka. His report date is June 7.
Carbonari is currently West Fork District Ranger on the Bitterroot National Forest. He grew up playing in the mountains and rivers of Northwest Montana and graduated from Flathead High School. He started in wildland firefighting while going to college at Flathead Valley Community College and the University of Montana. He has 28 years of experience, including the district ranger position and in various leadership positions in fire management.
Other assignments include acting district ranger, 11 years as on the Spotted Bear Ranger District as the fire management officer, smoke-jumping, the Flathead Avalanche Center as an educator and forecaster, and with the Montana DNRC as a firefighter.
