NIC ROUNDUP: Cardinal volleyball splits with CC Spokane

COEUR d’ALENE — Janae Rayborn, a freshman from Lake City High, had 10 kills for North Idaho College in a 25-14, 13-25, 15-11 win over the Community Colleges of Spokane in Northwest Athletic Conference play at Christianson Gymnasium on Tuesday.
Sophomore Journey Tupea had seven kills and 19 digs for NIC (7-3, 7-3 NWAC) in the first match.
In the second match, Rayborn had 13 kills, Tupea 10 for the Cardinals, who fell to the Sasquatch 19-25, 25-13, 15-13.
Peyton Claus had 27 assists in the second match for NIC (7-3, 7-3), which is scheduled to conclude the spring season at Blue Mountain on Friday.
Spokane is 6-4, 6-4.

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — The Cardinals (19-4, 18-4 NWAC) split with the Warriors (16-4, 12-4) in Northwest Athletic Conference play.
