Glacier National Park has opened the Going-to-the-Sun Road to Avalanche Creek for motor vehicles and park plows are knocking on the proverbial door of Logan Pass.

Plows are currently in the Rimrocks area, which is a little more than a half-mile from the pass, according to the Park’s website.

On the east side folks can drive to Rising Sun. Plows were in the Jackson Glacier Overloook area.

The road is closed to hikers and bikers beyond the Loop due to Avalanche danger.

The Two Medicine Road is still closed to vehicles, though it is plowed.

The Looking Glass Highway outside the Park is open for the season.

This weekend is supposed to be sunny and warm with the chance of an odd shower.
