Makayla Ortega-Sanchez threw a no-hitter with one strikeout in four innings on the mound for Royal on Tuesday. Chenoa Louie and Raylie Wardenaar both finished with three RBIs to lead the Knights with five Royal players making multiple hits.

Madison Ortega-Sanchez and Makayla Ortega-Sanchez combined for eight strikeouts on the mound for Royal with just one hit allowed in five innings. Chenoa Louie finished 3-4 from the plate with four RBIs, a triple and a home run. Randi Allred finished 2-4 with a pair of doubles.

Simon Ribellia and Oscar Garcia scored for Moses Lake as the matchup between the two sides went to penalties after ending regulation tied at 2-2. Quincy’s Alejandro Mendoza and Jorge Nuñez scored in regulation. The Jacks capitalized on a pair of missed penalty kicks to come out ahead, 4-1.

Down 2-0 at the half, Luis Cruz scored twice on direct kicks in the second half to tie the game. Coming down to penalties, both sides made their first five attempts before the North Central goalkeeper made a crucial save, handing Othello their first loss of the season.

After an early 3-0 lead for Othello, a pair of runs from North Central in the top of the seventh let them come back to win. The Huskies amassed 10 hits including a 3-3 effort from Larry Deleon. Isaiah Alegria grabbed a pair of RBIs and a home run.

The Vikings were able to hold off North Idaho thanks to a 12-point lead going into the second half Monday. Kelsey Sorenson notched 20 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. Savana Stephenson chipped in 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

The Vikings held off a comeback in the fourth quarter on Tuesday against Columbia Basin College. Kelsey Sorenson finished with 12 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks, while Savana Stephenson also nabbed the double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Madelyn Mace finished with 15 points and Kaitlyn Callahan finished with 11.
