ASHLAND, Ore. — TJ Davis, a 2018 Sandpoint grad, won the men's decathlon at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Multi-Event Championships held April 22-23 in Ashland, Oregon.

Davis racked up 6,496 points over the two-day event to secure the decathlon title for Eastern Oregon University.

Davis set a new personal best in the event by over 200 points and the mark is sixth best in school history during the outdoor season. He also PR'd in four of his five events in the decathlon on day two.

The title comes after Davis captured seventh in the heptathlon at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in March to earn All-American honors.

Davis, the SHS record holder in the 110-meter hurdles, received a scholarship to EOU last April after spending the previous two years at Spokane Falls Community College.
