Getting a late start on getting your tomatoes, vegetables and other plants for the garden?

Lake Pend Oreille High School still has tomato, peppers and zucchini plants available as well as assorted geraniums, marigolds, nasturtiums, pansies and zinnias for sale at the school.

Funds raised from the sale of the vegetables goes toward student programs, art supplies and other projects at the high school, according to teacher Randy Wilhelm, who has been running the annual program for the past 19 years.

The cost for the tomato plants, and assorted flowers for $5 per plant. Peppers and zucchini plants are $4 per plant.

For more information, Randy Wilhelm can be reached at randy.wilhelm@lposd.org.
