NIC VOLLEYBALL: Rayborn powers Cards to sweep

COEUR d'ALENE — Janae Rayborn, a sophomore outside hitter from Lake City High, had 13 kills and 16 digs for North Idaho College in a 25-19, 25-16, 27-25 win over the Columbia Basin Hawks in a Northwest Athletic Conference match at Christianson Gymnasium on Friday.
Lilly Hare, a sophomore middle blocker from Coeur d'Alene High, had 11 kills and a block and sophomore Taylin Rowley — from Coeur d'Alene — had eight kills and two digs. Sophomore libero Clair Hodge from Twin Falls had 26 digs for NIC.
Freshman Abigail Neff had 41 assists and six digs for NIC (10-13, 6-8 NWAC). The Cardinals, under league policy relating to COVID-19, had to forfeit eight matches due to outbreaks this season.
Tamia Allen-Greggs had eight kills for Columbia Basin (17-9, 11-4), which has clinched a playoff spot and leads the East Region standings.
NIC concludes the season at Yakima Valley on Wednesday.
