A collision near downtown Libby last week left a truck flipped on its side but didn’t appear to result in any serious injuries.

The accident occurred after a vehicle headed east on Lincoln Boulevard collided with a truck headed north on Louisiana Avenue, according to Scott Beagle, first assistant fire chief with the Libby Volunteer Fire Department.

Both drivers seemed to have come out their vehicles largely unharmed, Beagle said. Neither vehicle was carrying passengers.

Six fire department personnel joined with Libby Volunteer Ambulance members and officers with the Libby Police Department in responding to the scene.
