Ephrata pedestrian dies from injuries in November collision

An Ephrata man, who was struck by a car in early November while walking on D Street Northeast in Ephrata, died Wednesday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, the Washington State Patrol said Thursday.
Rubio A. Angel, 63, was walking north on D Street Northeast, near the bicycle lane at 11:21 a.m. Nov. 7, when he was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, which was traveling north on D Street and driven by Martha E. Devine, 84, of Ephrata. The vehicle had drifted into the bicycle lane as it approached Second Avenue, where it struck Angel.
Devine was uninjured and was not cited, the WSP said. The vehicle had reportable damage.
