After holding down the mound at Lee Gehring Field, Moxley Roesler-Begalke has climbed the baseball roster at the University of Puget Sound, becoming one of the team’s top arms.

Libby Loggers coach Kelly Morford congratulated the college sophomore on his ascent as a pitcher at the NCAA Division III university in a social media post earlier this week. Commenting on the Washington school’s Logger mascot, Kelly said the “‘original’ Logger Nation” was rooting for Roesler-Begalke.

“It took a lot of hard work by Mox to get to this point and we are beyond proud of him,” wrote Morford.

Roesler-Begalke rounded out his high school baseball career with the Libby Loggers in 2020. He graduated from Troy High School the same year.
