The Columbia Falls football team suffered its first loss of the season in a drubbing by Polson Friday on the road, 37-0.

The Wildcats had a tough time stopping Polson quarterback Jarrett Wilson, who went 28-for-47 for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

He also rushed 14 times for 123 yards.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats couldn’t get their offense going consistently. The Cats had 204 yards of offense, 171 through the air. 

They face Browning at home Friday for senior night. Gametime is 7 p.m. They then end the season the road against Whitefish and Hamilton.

Both teams are undefeated. Browning is 2-4. With the loss, the Cats are now 3-1 on the season.

Moses Lake man arrested after high-speed chase

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man was booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of felony eluding and other charges after allegedly leading local law enforcement and Washington State Patrol troopers on a high-speed chase Tuesday afternoon.
