Jeanne P. Greenfield

Jeanne was born Jan. 8, 1928, in Rose Lake, Idaho, to Carl J. and Margaret (Thompson) Westersund. At an early age the family moved to Coeur d’Alene where she attended schools, graduating in 1945.

After attending Kinman Business University she worked as a secretary at Central Motors, an auto dealership. She then worked as secretary/bookkeeper for Adams and Son, an insurance agency, which later merged with Sonnichsen Inc.

She met and married L.E. Greenfield “Greenie”. They moved to Port Townsend, Wash., in 1968 and operated a Montgomery Ward Catalog Store. They retired in 1990 and moved to Hayden.

She was a devoted fan of the Mariners, Seahawks And Gonzaga. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word searches.

She was preceded in death by Greenie, her husband of 44 years in 2004, her son at birth, her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. She is survived by cousins Vernette in Washington, Laurie and Lynette in Hayden, Leslie of Kentucky, Mike of Post Falls, Kathy of Virginia and Dean of Mexico.
