YAKIMA, Wash. — Led by James Swan and Megan Light, the North Idaho College men's and women's golf teams won titles Tuesday at the 2021 NWAC Championship Preview at Apple Tree Golf Course.

NIC's men shot a 575 to win by nine strokes over Bellevue Community College.

Swan shot 68-67—135, 9 under par for a four-shot victory. NIC's James Baldauf tied for third.

NIC's women, led by Megan Light's second-place finish, shot a 471 to win by 10 strokes over Bellevue.

The event wrapped up the fall tournament season for NIC. Tourney play resumes in the spring.
