A Thursday night shooting at a Post Falls gas station left one man wounded.
Post Falls police reported receiving multiple 911 calls about a shooting at the Maverick gas station in the 5900 block of Pointe Parkway about 6:45 p.m.
Police found two vehicles with bullet damage and one man with a gunshot wound, according to a press release.
Police said about three shots were fired from a handgun.
Officers applied a tourniquet to the male and he was transported by Kootenai County Fire and Rescue to Kootenai Health, where he was last reported to be in stable condition, a press release said.
Another man on the scene was identified as the shooter, police said. His identity was not released and police said he was not arrested.
An investigation continues.
