After a victory over Corvallis, Libby is bound for the Class A football playoffs this week.

The Loggers secured their first-round game against Billings Central after defeating the Blue Devils 15-0 on Oct. 22.

Libby went into the game against Corvallis with a 2-4 record in the western Class A conference. This meant the Loggers had to defeat the Blue Devils if they wanted to clinch the seventh seed in the conference and make the playoffs.

With a 6-2 record, Billings Central holds the third seed in the eastern Class A conference. Were the Loggers to make it past the Rams during their Oct. 30 game, they would move on to face Polson. The Pirates are the top-ranked team out of the west with a 7-0 record.
