Voters who live in LPOSD Zone 2 have the opportunity to vote for an excellent candidate, Gary Suppiger. Gary has been on the LPOSD board for the last four years and has served with commitment and integrity.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Gary and his family for 28 years. I know him to be a dedicated family man, successful local business owner, and involved community member. Gary knows that outstanding schools are a result of a strong and thriving community and has been committed to making sure that our school district is one of the best in the state of Idaho.

During his time on the school board, Gary has ensured that all students have opportunities to excel. He has supported the wide variety of professional technical programs available in our schools, homeschool programs to enrich our vibrant homeschool community, college preparatory courses for college-bound students, STEM and enrichment programs for our elementary schools, and extracurricular activities for all of the kids in our district whether or not they attend LPOSD schools.

The passage of the permanent supplemental levy has ensured that LPOSD has a stable funding source for 30% of the budget. And despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, LPOSD schools quickly adjusted and were back in session for full-time in-person learning in September 2020 while most schools in the nation were still closed.
