Badgers volleyball dominates in first match

BONNERS FERRY — Badgers varsity volleyball competed against Stillwater Christian on Aug. 28 and won in three sets with scores of 25-9, 25-7 and 15-9.

The top scorers for Varsity were Sierra Petesch with 6 kills, Asha Abubakari with 6 kills and 4 aces.

Lexie Maas had 6 kills and 6 aces, and Emma Lucas and Nevaeh Elliston had 5 aces. Nevaeh had 22 serve attempts with 100% accuracy.

Junior varsity beat Stillwater Christian in two sets, 25-18 and 25-19.

The top scorers are Sara Cummings with 6 kills, Kimberly Lucas with 5 aces, Helene Rae with 5 kills and a block.

The next game is an away game on Thursday, Sept. 2, in Libby, Montana.
