Richard Veltri, 44, of Post Falls, was arrested in the area of Highway 41 and Roberts Lane in Blanchard at 12:27 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

Report of a reckless driver in the 41000 block of Highway 200 near Hope at 1:50 p.m.

Report of a theft in the 22000 block of U.S. 2 at 2:33 p.m.

A non-injury accident was reported on Dufort Road in Sagle at 5:32 p.m.

Report of a pontoon boat in need of a tow near Oden Bay on Lake Pend Oreille at 5:21 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported on U.S. 95 near Westmond Road at 5:47 p.m.

Report of a marine incident in the Oden Bay Area on Lake Pend Oreille at 6:17 p.m.

Report of a marine incident near the eastern shore of Priest Lake near Coolin at 6:24 p.m.

Report of suspicious circumstances in the 700 block of Old Priest River Road at 7:09 p.m.

Report of a marine incident on the Pend Oreille River near Priest River involving a canoe at 7:45 p.m.

Report of a traffic collision in the 1800 block of Southside School Road in Cocolalla at 8:46 a.m.

Garrett Laner, 32, of Post Falls, was arrested in the 100 block of Jeffres Lane at 8:53 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

Deputies responded to a report of a family offense in the area of Old Diamond Mill Road in Oldtown at 9:27 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported in the 45000 block of Highway 200 near Hope at 10:48 p.m.

Deputies responded to a family offense in the 5000 block of Spirit Lake Cutoff Road at 2:17 a.m.

Aug. 15

Report of possible threats in the 3200 block of Great Northern Road at 8:54 a.m.

Report of a battery in the 100 block of Halley Street at 9:24 a.m.

Report of a dog locked inside a vehicle in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 1:35 p.m.

A civil standby was requested in the 700 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 2:46 p.m.

Lindsay R. McCabe, 20, of Sandpoint, was cited in the Great Northern Road area at 3:02 p.m. on a misdemeanor no-insurance charge.

Report of a disorderly male in the 400 block of W. Third Avenue at 11:44 p.m.

An officer advised they were unable to locate a suspicious male reported to be in the 900 block of Church Street at 11:58 p.m.

A report of information on N. Third Avenue at 12:34 a.m. was placed under investigation.
