Vandalism was reported in the 2000 block of Old Priest River Road at 9:28 a.m.

Report of harassment on Five Lakes Estates in Sagle at 9:25 a.m.

Report of a possible drunken driver on Tank Road in Oldtown at 10:34 a.m.

Report of a hit-and-run accident on W. Lakeshore Road in Priest Lake at 10:22 a.m.

Report of a suspicious person in the Fourth Street area in Dover at 10:30 a.m.

Report of an alarm in the Priest Lake area on Fairway Drive at 12:36 p.m.

Report of fraud in the 2100 block of Reeder Creek Road in Nordman at 12:36 p.m.

Report of harassment on Bowers Trail in Spirit Lake at 1:37 p.m.

Deputies were assigned to a threats call in the Hope area on Eagen Mountain Drive at 3:21 p.m.

Deputies were assigned to a recovered vehicle call in the Sandpoint area on N. Boyer Road at 4:27 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver on U.S. 95 in the greater Sandpoint area at 3:58 p.m.

A non-injury accident was reported on Dufort Road and Lakeshore Drive in Sagle at 5:14 p.m.

A deputy responded to a report of trespassing and vandalism in the Graham Avenue area at 5:16 p.m.

Deputies responded to a trespass complaint in the pre-100 block of W. Manley Creek Road in Priest River at 6:49 p.m.

A deputy took a report of harassment in the 1000 block of Blanchard Cutoff Road in Blanchard at 7:05 p.m.

Report of a civil standby in the 13000 block of West Pine Street in Dover at 7:23 p.m.

Drugs and paraphernalia were located during a traffic stop in the 1000 block of U.S. 2 in Oldtown at 9:40 p.m.

Deputies responded to a non-injury traffic collision in the 7300 block of Eastshore Road in Coolin at 9:45 p.m.

Report of a non-injury accident in the area of U.S. 2 and Roosevelt Avenue in Dover at 9:52 p.m.

Aug. 18

Deputies responded to report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Hoop Loop Road in Priest River at 2:36 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Aug. 17

Report of a vehicle burglary in the 600 block of W. Superior Street at 11:08 a.m.

Officers assisted BGH with mental health paperwork on N. Third Avenue at 11:09 a.m.

Items were reported taken from a vehicle in the 600 block of W. Superior Street at 11:08 a.m.

Michael F. Hammer, 62, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 200 block of E. Superior Street at 2:14 p.m. on a charge of aggravated assault.

Report of a slide-off accident in the area of U.S. 2 and Northview Drive at 5:26 p.m.

Report of possible animal cruelty in the 1100 block of Sixth Avenue at 8:28 a.m.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 600 block of N. Ella Avenue at 9:55 p.m.

Report of malicious injury to property in the 300 block of W. Lake Street at 10:26 p.m.

An officer advised they were unable to locate any suspicious vehicles reported to be in the 100 block of S. Fourth Avenue at 10:36 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Aug. 17

An officer responded to a suspicious item reported to be in the 200 block of Larkspur Street at 7:57 a.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on Sandpoint Avenue at 9:06 a.m.
