Kalispell man dies in motorcycle accident near Plains

A 55-year-old Kalispell resident was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening on Montana 28 in Sanders County near Plains, the Montana Highway Patrol reported.

The biker, whose name was not immediately released, was southbound on Montana 28 at about 7:45 p.m., going downhill on a lefthand curve around mile marker 3, according to the highway patrol.

The motorcycle, a Harley Davidson, drifted off the right side of the roadway and overturned, according to the highway patrol. The driver was thrown from the bike and declared dead at the scene.
