A Post Falls man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon about 4 miles southeast of Clark Fork.

According to the Idaho State Police, James A. Peters, 38, and his passenger, Chelsea N. Larson, 28, of Coeur d'Alene, were on Twin Creek Road on a 2021 Yamaha YZ450 motorcycle about 1 p.m. when Peters lost control and went off the left-hand shoulder of the road.

Peters was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene, ISP said. Larson was wearing a helmet and was transported to the hospital.

An investigation continues.
