COEUR d’ALENE — Zak Wenglikowski had a goal and assist for Coeur d’Alene in a 4-1 win over the Moscow Bears in nonleague play on Wednesday at Coeur d’Alene High.
Alex Reyes, Chad Holbrook and Evan Lowder also had goals for Coeur d’Alene (5-0), which outshot Moscow 14-2.
Coeur d’Alene travels to Post Falls on Saturday at noon.

“Somehow, it got through the wall and Kael didn’t see it,” Post Falls coach Gabe Lawson said. “We dominated the second half, but struggled to find the back of the net. We put a lot of things together, but are struggling to score in the final third. We got close a number of times tonight, but they’re just not falling yet. But it’s about to.”
Post Falls (0-6, 0-3 IEL) plays host to Coeur d’Alene on Saturday.

RATHDRUM — Claire Howard scored in the fifth minute for the Hawks, who battled, but fell short to the Bulldogs in an Inland Empire League match at Sunrise Rotary Field.
“We scored first, which was huge for us,” Lakeland coach Kevin Rogge said. “We held them for 20 minutes, and really played a heck of a game and it looked like we really wanted it.”
Piper Frank had two goals and two assists for Sandpoint (5-0, 2-0 IEL), which outshot Lakeland 33-3.
“They’re a really good team,” Rogge said. “Our keeper Ruby (McIntosh) did a really good job and we asked a lot of her and she did a good job.”
