Application period for tourism projects open

Applications for 2022 tourism projects are being accepted until noon Oct. 1 by the Moses Lake Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, according to a news flash from the city.

Hotel/motel tax money is awarded every year to entities working to promote Moses Lake tourism.

Applications must be in by deadline for consideration. The first review of applications will be 4 p.m. Oct. 5 at city council chambers, 401 S. Balsam St., where updates from previous recipients and presentations from new allocations will take place.

Previous recipients include Moses Lake – Tourism, Columbia Basin Allied Arts, Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, Grant County Fairgrounds, Downtown Moses Lake Association, Moses Lake Spring Festival, Sand Scorpions ORV Group and Visit WA for the Moses Lake Air Show.
