Man dies following motorcycle crash

A Montana man died Monday from injuries suffered in a Sept. 6 motorcycle accident near Ponderay.

Todd M. King, 50, of Elmo, Montana, died Monday, Sept. 13, from injuries received in the crash, Idaho State Police said in a press release.

King was eastbound on Highway 200 near milepost 30 when he lost control of his 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle, crossing the eastbound land and impacting an embankment on the south shoulder.

King, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was transported by ground ambulance to Bonner General Health before being flown by air ambulance to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Next of kin have been notified.
