Gerald A. (Jerry) Felch of Clark Fork, Idaho, passed away in his sleep on August 12, 2021 at the age of 70.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Felch and is survived by his mother, Marian Felch; his brothers, Chuck, Bob, and Mike; a sister Jane; two daughters, Brandi and Krista; a stepdaughter, Misty; and numerous grandchildren. At the time of death he was survived by his stepson, Jimmy; who sadly also passed away on September 5, 2021.

Jerry was born on September 23, 1950 in Racine, Wisconsin. He joined the USMC at age 18 and proudly served his country and fought in the Vietnam War. In his early 30s, he pursued his lifelong dream of building a log cabin in the mountains of northern Idaho, where he lived for nearly 40 years. He was a published author who loved spending his time hunting, trapping, exploring the mountains, reading, and spending quality time with his family and friends. Jerry will be remembered as a kind and loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Per the deceased’s request, no formal service will be held.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans Association, Chapter 890, of which Jerry was a proud member. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 2014, Sandpoint, ID 83864 or made online via a GoFundMe set up in his name, at the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/vietnam-veterans-of-america-for-gerald-a-felch.  All proceeds will be accumulated and sent to the VVA local chapter in honor of Jerry Felch.
