Moses Lake man injured

A 29-year-old Moses Lake man was injured Monday night in a Kittitas County collision, the Washington State Patrol said.
Christopher T. Beard was speeding in his black 2002 Ford Focus just before 10:13 p.m. eastbound on Interstate 90, near Renslow, when the Ford swerved from the left lane to the right lane and onto the shoulder, where it struck a rock wall. The vehicle then rolled several times and came to rest on its wheels on the right shoulder, the WSP stated. The engine came to rest about 20 beet from the vehicle.
Beard was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He was wearing a seat belt.
He also may be cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license, the WSP stated.
The Ford was totaled. The cause of the collision was speeding, according to the WSP.
