A pair of public forums have been set in May for residents to chime in on a master plan for Libby growth.

The Libby Planning Board this week set the first public forum from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 10, with a second meeting set from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 11.

Both are meant to gather public input on efforts to update the City of Libby’s master growth plan, last revised more than a decade ago.

The document outlines a vision for the city in guiding efforts to address public issues like land use, housing, local services and natural resources.

City officials currently await a report on existing conditions within Libby since a 2010 update of the plan.

They will be launching an outreach campaign this month.
