Patricia Kersting, 79

Patricia Kersting, age 79, died of natural causes on March 12, 2022, in Hayden, Idaho, after a long and full life. She was born in 1942 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Charles Van Orden and Wilma Scott. She considered herself a true Idahoan.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William Kersting. She is lovingly remembered by her three children, Lisa Bonney, Ron Belke, and Brian Belke (Gina Belke); two grandchildren, Nicholas and Christopher Belke; siblings, Randy Van Orden, Jean Rose, Karen Heaton and Lawrence Heaton. She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William Kersting.

Growing up as a farm girl, Patricia had a true sense of individualism. Extremely crafty, she could make her own clothes, paint, made pottery and loved to garden.

Pat’s true passion however was tennis. She was an avid player and fan her entire life. She was a fierce competitor, her only regret was not being able to take up tennis early in life.

Patricia was very loved and will be dearly missed. A memorial will be scheduled in September.
