Ronan tennis opens season against Columbia Falls

The Ronan tennis team started its season at home Tuesday, with both the boys and girls teams falling to Columbia Falls.

Ronan got singles wins from Dillon PrettyOnTop and Beau Decker. PrettyOnTop lost his first set against Dale Blickhan, but rallied to win the next two. Decker defeated Orion Barta 6-1, 6-0.

Columbia Falls' Cade Morgan and Cody Schweikert won in boys doubles, beating Dylan Shock and Isaac Cantlon 6-2, 6-3.

On the girls side, Cloey Ramage led the way with her two-set win at No. 1 singles.

Lillian McDonald, MacKenzie Nelson and Zoey Byrd also scored singles wins.

The doubles team of Grace Gedlaman and Alyssa Williams defeated Kaileen Howard and Madison Perry in straight sets — 6-0, 6-0. Kya West and Kati Crockett also won in two sets.
