Brandy Connell Guy of Swan Lake ran to grab her camera when she saw the faint glow of the northern lights last Wednesday night. To the naked eye, the northern lights can sometimes be hard to see in Northwest Montana. But photos help bring out the deep pinks, reds and greens that dance around the sky. The lights didn’t stick around for long, though. Guy said the glow as she saw it from Swan Lake did not lasted a short time and was soon obscured by clouds.
