Tammi Laree Hite, 14

The most inspirational, strongest people in life often come in small packages. Tammi Laree Hite, 14, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, went home to God, surrounded by love and peace on February 15, 2022.

Tammi was born on December 13, 2007, at KMC. She lived a life full of joy and positivity. She brought love and light into everything that she did. She especially loved cheer, art, Marvel movies, snuggles, math, volleyball, food, dancing, volunteering, music, and laughter. Most of all she loved her family, friends, and community. She loved giving back to her community by participating in the many volunteer events with the Moore for Youth Foundation. Her infectious, beautiful, positive, caring character won her the “Spirit of Woodland” award two years in a row. As a member of a winning national All Star Cheer team she showed determination and perseverance. Tammi was very goal oriented and loved learning. She wanted to be an Imagineer for Disney so she could use her love for drawing to create timeless stories, connecting families and inspiring children to do the next right thing. Her friends describe her as the “go to for everything “friend. She was goofy, so much fun and always supportive to them all. Even though all her brothers playfully annoyed her, Tanner, Avory and Maddox, she loved them all fiercely.

Tammi renewed our faith in the power of prayer and the inner strength we are all capable of. She is our hero. We will live every day thankful for what she has taught us about true strength and the fortitude to live every day of life to the fullest, no matter the cards we are dealt. The imprint she left behind in our hearts will be her legacy forever. We love you, sweet girl.

She is survived by an enormous community of family and friends. Please join us in celebrating Tammi’s life on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Lake City Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Rd, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Here we will continue to Never Lose Faith and live Tammi’s favorite quote, “Stay Strong. Make them wonder how you’re still smiling.”
