HAYDEN — Family-friendly fun will take flight during the Hayden Kite Festival this weekend.
The festival will go from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Broadmoore Park, 2691 W. Broadmoore Drive.
Registration and kite flying will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Judging will be held from 1:30-2 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m.
Categories will include Best in Show, High Flyer, Best Homemade and more.
The Hayden Kite Festival is free and open to all ages.
Don’t have a kite? Sponsored by Aspen Homes in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, kites will be available at the event.
Idahome Espresso will have refreshments for sale.
