MATTAWA — A Pasco man was transported to Kadlec Medical Center in Kennewick after he failed to negotiate a roundabout near Mattawa and ran off the road Tuesday morning.

Roy Limon, 80, was attempting to go through the roundabout at the intersection of State Route 243 and Government Road about 5:30 a.m. when he ran off the road, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol. Limon’s car came to a stop in a ditch on the southbound side.

Limon was not wearing a seatbelt, the WSP memo said. The collision is still under investigation.
