Adam Schluter wants you to come to his house for dinner on Monday.

The Coeur d'Alene man is hosting the 60th Monday Night Dinner at 5:30 p.m., 1037 N. Third St.

All are welcome, as the gathering is part of Schluter's efforts to connect people and create a kind, understanding world.

Anyone who wants to attend is asked to bring a side dish of food, a few dollars to donate for the music and chairs.

Monday Night Dinners started by Schluter have been going on every other Monday for the past five years "as a way to try and bring the world closer together when it feels so divided."

The only rules? No business, no politics, nothing divisive.

"No agenda at all other than old-fashioned connection," Schluter wrote.

He said they had 150 at the last dinner and believes this Monday's dinner is going to be the biggest yet.

The dinners may help "us all just bring the world closer together, at a time when we all need it more than ever," Schluter wrote.
