The senior running back rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns, two in the first quarter, as the Hawks beat the Preston Indians 28-0 in the season opener last Friday in Butte, Mont. “He’s a good inside/outside runner, and we complemented Thomas Calder off him. It’s a nice one-two punch to have,” Lakeland coach Mike Schroeder said. “He’s a strong kid, but he’s got speed too. It’s easier to break tackles when you're fast.”
