Police Calls - Multiple vehicles have license plates stolen

July 22

6:35 a.m. Just as the caller was on the phone with law enforcement, the people camping in the parking lot drove away.

8:46 a.m. Someone staying in a nearby Airbnb thought the dog on Copperwood Court who was outside all day with a cone on appeared to be in distress.

8:49 a.m. Three accidental 911 calls occurred within two hours of one another. A pocket, an accidental bump and an undescribed accidental dial were the culprits.

11:27 a.m. The woman sleeping in her car at a business on Highway 40 had been asked to move along but was still there.

12:02 p.m. There was a vehicle vs bicycle accident on Skyles Place. No one wanted an ambulance and it appeared the driver and the cyclist knew one another.

12:11 p.m. After a white Ford SUV rolled into traffic on Central Avenue, it was rolled back and had a rock placed under a tire.

3:02 p.m. The caller says there have been packages and boots taken from the porch in the past few days on Colorado Avenue.

3:28 p.m. On Commerce Street, two trucks collided in the center lane and there were no injuries.

9:43 p.m. The caller’s boyfriend allegedly inexplicably sprayed himself with bear spray while loading the car on Second Street.

1:12 a.m. Reportedly, people were having a party at City Beach and were being loud and playing music.

July 23

4:07 p.m. After spitting on cars and yelling at people in the parking garage, two teenagers were told to go to the police department where they were counseled on their behavior.

7:06 p.m. She’d been sitting at the gas pump on Highway 93 for almost an hour and now has her feet up and is texting.

7:12 p.m. Someone found a wallet downtown and brought it to the police station.

10:47 p.m. The driver with his flashers on was having issues with his break lights.

12:16 a.m. A caller reported someone driving very slowly and swerving on Highway 93.

July 24

4:55 a.m. Multiple cars were parked on the south side of West Lakeshore Drive making it impossible to have two-way traffic on the roadway.

July 25

7:48 a.m. Three different vehicles reportedly had their license plates stolen.

9:56 a.m. The caller requested extra patrol for speeding cars on Karrow Avenue because he believed it was getting dangerous.

11:22 a.m. Reportedly, $2,500 worth of tools were stolen from a job site on The Quarry Road.

1:24 p.m. The caller reported one of his two license plates were missing.

4:25 p.m. The caller on Somers Avenue reported that his vehicle used to have one license plate but now has none.

10:24 p.m. A woman on Jasper Loop couldn’t get her phone to turn on, then accidentally dialed 911 and finally, was unable to get her phone to hang up.

2:12 a.m. Four to five people continued to party loudly at City Beach and needed to be advised of the hours of operation for the beach.

July 26

3:12 p.m. The caller noticed today that the license plate from his truck is missing.

3:37 p.m. For three weeks now on Lupfer Avenue, an owner of an old, blue Subaru has been parking it too close to cars, blocking them in. It is also parallel parked in the opposite direction from the way it is supposed to be parked.

4:08 p.m. The owner of a car that was towed after parking where she’d seen several cars with Montana plates park without incident, feels she is being discriminated against for having out of state plates.
