Peter “Pete” Stanley Kuber, 72, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, went to the Lord on Aug. 17, 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones and in the thoughts and prayers of many others.

At his core, Pete was a genuine cowboy. You’d be hard pressed to find him in anything other than a pair of Wranglers, a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. He spent much of his childhood and adulthood immersed in the agriculture community participating in many endeavors such as showing livestock, working at a farm or slaughterhouse, attending roundups/rodeos and going on horseback trips with the Sonoma County Trailblazers.

Pete went on to achieve his Agricultural Science degree from Cal Poly and worked as a Veterinary Health Consultant providing support to dairymen and ranchers for much of his career.

Pete was a devout Catholic, committed father, caring brother and loving son. Family and faith were the primary pillars of his life. As a father of four, Pete loved to spend much of his time and energy with his children, always supporting them in every school, church and sporting event imaginable.

He is survived by his four children: Michael Kuber, Robert Kuber, Ashley Kuber and Tyler Kuber. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Sage Kuber, Clark Kuber, Wilder Kuber, Goldie Kuber, Sunny Jones and Beck Jones. His siblings are Linda Kuber, Ron Kuber and Paul Kuber.

Pete was preceded in death by his father, Zygmund “Stan” Stanley Kuber and his mother, Olga Kuber.

The funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Aug. 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. preceded by a Rosary at 10 a.m. Church address: St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 919 E. Indiana Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814.
