Michel Jay McGaffee, 51

In loving memory of Michel Jay McGaffee, who was taken from us Nov. 20, 2022, at too young of an age after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Mike was born to Mary and Dennis McGaffee on Oct. 17, 1971, in Millington, Tenn. His loving parents both proceeded him in death.

Mike is survived by his sisters, Diane Blankenbaker and Mary Beal, his brother, Patrick McGaffee and his loving daughter, LaTosha McGafee.

Mike graduated from Everett High School in 1990. He moved to the Post Falls area soon after. He worked at the Coeur d’Alene School District from 2005 until his passing. He was loved and respected by his students and co-workers. Thank you Coeur d’Alene School District for all you have done for Mike and his daughter.

Away from work, Mike’s life was devoted to his daughter, LaTosha. The two of them were almost inseparable. They loved camping and going to bingo together as well as vacationing.

Many will miss Mike but none more than his daughter, LaTosha.
