While our beautiful town is famous for summertime on the lake, the winter season also draws in quite the crowd. Coeur d’Alene definitely knows how to make the holidays magical!

In all the bustle of shopping and hanging decorations, the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber joyfully reflects on the heart behind these festivities, such as time spent with family and friends and being grateful for the year’s blessings.

Among the things to be thankful for this season are the many festive activities Coeur d’Alene has to offer.

● DOWNTOWN LIGHTS

Around here, we are not embarrassed about getting into the holiday spirit! Downtown is lovely year-round, but you don’t want to miss it during the holidays. Visit a storybook world as Sherman Avenue transforms into a magical place full of lights and decorations.

● CHRISTMAS AT THE RESORT

The spectacular light display offered at the resort attracts crowds from near and far. The Resort also offers lake cruises through the holidays, including the famous North Pole Cruises.

● FAMILY FUN

Create lifelong memories with family and friends in Coeur d'Alene this season. Take the kids ice skating at CDA On Ice, right at McEuen Park. With plenty of nearby trails to go snowshoeing and hiking and options for skiing and snowboarding, you can spend plenty of time outdoors and wrap it up with dinner at the resort or in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
