Libby's Stevenson named to All-State football team for second year

The Libby Loggers football team have three members on the 2022 Western A Football All-Conference Team.
University of Montana recruit senior Cy Stevenson is a first team pick at running back and linebacker. He is also an All-State choice at both positions. Stevenson was an All-State selection in 2021.
Stevenson led the Loggers in rushing with 1,323 yards on 144 carries and 15 touchdowns. Stevenson also caught 14 passes for 183 yards and two TDs.
Defensively, Stevenson had 136 tackles, including 42 solo stops. Ten of those stops were for negative yards. He added 2 1/2 sacks.
Junior Jace DeShazer was picked for the Second Team at running back and linebacker. DeShazer was second in rushing with 585 yards on 96 carries and five touchdowns. He added seven catches for 65 yards.
DeShazer led the Loggers with 146 tackles, despite missing one game. DeShazer had 35 solo stops and eight for loss. He also had 2 1/2 sacks.
Junior Cy Williams was a Honorable Mention choice at safety. He led the team in receiving with 16 catches for 216 yards and three TDs.
On defense, Williams had 55 tackles, including 14 solo, and one for a loss of yards. He also had one sack. Williams had one interception, five passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
