Mary Schmidt, 91

Mary passed away peacefully at the Lodge House in Coeur d'Alene with Hospice on Nov. 15, 2022.

Mary was born in Clinton, Iowa, she was married to Julius Schmidt. They has two sons, Clark and Dolan. Together they opened a business, U-rent equipment rental store in the 1960s, currently located at 2111 N. Third, Coeur d'Alene.

Mary's passion was her family, their business, gardening and pets over the years.

Mary is survived by her sons: Clark (Connie), Dolan (Jill), and three grandchildren, Chad (Caitlyn), Christina Ackerman (Ryan) and Sally Schmidt, and four great-grandchildren, Aspen, Avery, Brantley and Wesley.

Yates Funeral Home is entrusted with the final arrangements.
