Robert A. Frisk passed away peacefully Dec. 3 in Coeur d’Alene after a long period of poor health. A resident of the area since 1995, he is the father of Alan and Jeremy Frisk, and stepfather of Nathan Frisk, of Coeur d’Alene.
Born in Berkeley, Calif., on June 15, 1954, he was the son of Richard M. and Elizabeth (Betty) Frisk. His mother’s parents were Emmett and Annah Booher of Coeur d’Alene. He is survived by his sons and stepson; daughter-in-law Lauren Frisk; granddaughter Chloe; brothers Jerome of Berkeley, Jon of Portola, Calif., and David of Clinton, N.Y.; and sister Catherine Lutz of St. Augustine, Fla.
He attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, Calif., did college work at Sonoma State University in California, and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area until he moved to Northern Idaho. He worked for a number of years as a subscription salesman for the Coeur d’Alene Press.
Robert’s family remembers him especially for his positive outlook, positive personality and for the now-grown children of whom he was so proud. A private family service will be held.
