First quarter carries Hawks over Glacier boys

BOZEMAN — Kellen Harrison scored seven of his first 13 points in the first eight minutes, and Bozeman made a 17-4 lead hold up for a 49-43 win over Glacier Saturday, the Wolfpack’s first loss.

Luke Smith added 11 points for the Hawks (2-1).

Ty Olsen hit two 3-pointers and scored 14 points as Glacier (3-1) fought back. Cohen Kastelitz added nine points for the Wolfpack.

Glacier’s next game isn’t until Jan. 6, at Butte.
